In 2023, Katie graduated with a first-class degree in history and archaeology from the University Centre Peterborough. Shortly after, Katie joined the Fenland SOIL team as an administration assistant for the Paludiculture Exploration Fund Project. Katie has developed a keen interest in community outreach and hopes to expand an awareness of Fenland SOILs initiatives among non-farming communities. As well as this, Katie has continued her passion for history and is currently working towards a master’s in history at ARU Cambridge. Her master’s dissertation will focus on examining the effects of climate on consumer behavior during the early modern period.
