Farming has been a dream for me since I was a young child, I love the great outdoors and the interaction that nature has within itself and the surrounding areas. Having had the opportunity to grow up on a family farm that has always been innovative whetted my appetite to continue and to always seek a different angle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice Chairman of Water beach internal drainage board<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Board member of littleport and Downham IDB<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Laptf Member<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Member of the BEIS peatland scheme<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fenland Soil member<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Agritech-e steering group member<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have also with collaboration with NIAB and CEH just embarked on a very exciting innovate uk bid which will hopefully create opportunities within the fen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keen at engaging with schools to get them onto farm and appreciate where food comes from and explain that farming is multi-faceted and not a boring job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing that remains critical is the values that a strong family farm can bring, we are now farming over 4000 acres, which is a mix of rented, contract farmed and owned land growing a diverse range of crops and diversifications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1133,"template":"","categories":[15],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
