Dr Helen Driver

The Centre for Landscape Regeneration (CLR) is working to provide knowledge & tools necessary to regenerate the British countryside using cost-effective nature-based solutions. By harnessing the power of ecosystems, they strive to deliver broad societal benefits, alongside biodiversity recovery, climate mitigation & adaptation.  Their work has a focus on Cairngorms, Cumbria and the Fens.

Helen joined the CLR in 2022 as the project started. She is a chemist by background and has worked in research management, interdisciplinary collaboration and research funding for many years.  She was previously the Research Development Manager for the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and in previous roles worked at the Royal Society for Chemistry, UKRI India and EPSRC.

She has worked closely with Fenland SOIL throughout her time at the CLR, including on previous conferences and events as well as facilitating our collaboration on maximising the benefits of Fenland ditches, funded through LAPDWP.
