Bethany studied BSc Physical Geography and, as a former teacher, has a passion for educating others about human-environmental interactions.
Her role will focus on communicating with farmers, seeking to meet their needs within a framework of sustainable land management, and analysing key findings in the latest agricultural and lowland peat soil research.
When she’s not out at events or discussing new developments in agriculture, Bethany enjoys crocheting, hiking in the Lake District, and baking.
